6 places to get men's suits
in Singapore

A well-crafted suit is an excellent sartorial souvenir.

Suitsupply

Singapore boasts the second Suitsupply shop in Asia (the first is in Shanghai). This Dutch label is well-known for its wide range of suits, styles, fabrics and cuts that are offered at relatively reasonable prices. The shop features a tailor right at the entrance, providing their signature while-you-wait alteration service.

Benjamin Barker

The Australian brand now has 10 stores in Singapore. Everything you need for a dapper wardrobe can be found here—shirts, pants, blazers, ties, lapel pins, pocket squares and even polished leather shoes. And if that's not enough, you can get suits custom-fitted and dressed up with finishes like grosgrain ribbons, embroidery and vintage buttons.

Boggi Milano

High-end Italian menswear brand Boggi Milano opened here in 2014, with a collection of men’s suits featuring offbeat paisley motifs, micro floral patterns, polka dots and luxury wool and cashmere mixes. While they’re a ready-to-wear label that deals in off-the-rack suits, they’ll of course be happy to accommodate any alternations you require.

Kevin Seah Bespoke

What better way to make an impression than a bespoke suit? Let Kevin Seah, one of Singapore's finest tailors, take your measure for a custom suit made to traditional Savile Row standards. Bespoke shirts are also made to classic fits, featuring fine 1/8” French seams, 23 stitches-per-inch stitching and mother of pearl fastenings. All this means you get suits and shirts that are made for you and you alone. Strictly by appointment only.

Suit Select

If you don't have time for bespoke, get one ready-made at this Japanese suit maker instead. While they will do alternations, their suits fit Asian body types quite well—you may find that all you need is your pants hemmed. There's more than a hundred styles of shirts, pants, suits and accessories for both men and women through two main collections—the Black Line which boasts modern aesthetics, while the Silver Line is more classic.

The Prestigious

This retail-cum-workshop founded by master tailor Thomas Wong is located at Boat Quay. It offers a private tailoring service, with all the work done on the premises by skilled tailors personally mentored and supervised by Wong. Their fabrics are imported from distinguished Italian and British textile specialists such as Thomas Mason and Cotonifico Albini. Appointments recommended.
