Wee Nam Kee has been known for its Hainanese dishes, especially its flavourful chicken rice and tender chicken meat pieces. They are also famous for its outstanding sauce, a mixture of spicy chilli sauce, yellow pasty ginger and silky, thick and less salty dark soy sauce. Rumah Makan Minang , an Indonesian restaurant specializes in Padang food, the cuisine of the Minangbakabau people of West Sumatra. The restaurant was established in 1954 and run by a multi-generational family, who serve the most authentic Beef Rendang as well as many delicious chicken, fish and vegetarian dishes.
